Meet the academic

Mr Chris Lloyd joined the School of Law at Oxford Brookes University in September 2012 as a Lecturer in Law, having previously been a Teaching Fellow in Criminal Law at Durham University (2011-2012) and a Sessional Lecturer at Birkbeck College, University of London (2008-2011). Chris was appointed as Senior Lecturer in Law in September 2016, and in September 2017 became the LLB Subject Coordinator. He holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Kent (2006) and is currently finalising his Doctoral Thesis within the School of Law at Birkbeck College, University of London. In 2014-2015, 2015-2016, Chris was a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Leicester, giving lectures on the Law and Political Theory module. Chris is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
