Dr. Joseph Adonu is a Senior Lecturer in Social Psychology in the School of Psychology of University of Bedfordshire who currently teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate courses. In this Subject Spotlight, Dr Joseph Adonu explores the psychology of one of the hardest feelings to define: love. By introducing you to several psychological theories of love, and evaluating the different cultural meanings of love, he tackles the age-old question: does love at first sight actually exist?

The easiest way to include it would be to briefly mention one or two things you learned from it and how/why those learnings have furthered your desire to study the subject. We don't want to prescribe an answer because it's your personal statement but this is a good starting point!
