What to expect

An exciting opportunity to examine the psychology behind a criminal case. Students will understand a forensic psychologist’s role in the criminal justice system and discover how psychology impacts interviewing and confessions, our perceptions of victims, and how the prison system is shaped.

We will explore the facts of a case, analyse the theories behind why individuals commit crime, and understand how a forensic psychologist uses theory and research to work with an offender in an applied setting such as a prison.
