What to expect

There will be plenty going on at the open day in Epsom for you to get involved in. Attending an introductory talk is a must, to get a formal welcome from UCA staff and get a feel for what the university is like - including their values and vision for you as a prospective student. There's an introductory talk at 10am and one at 12pm to allow flexibility in planning your day. There will also be subject-specific talks throughout the day, so make sure you attend at least one of these, too. If you're interested in more than one course, take a look at the full schedule for the day. Some talks might be repeated but some subjects might clash, so make a plan ahead of time and maybe even bring someone with you so you can split up and attend clashing talks! Aside from the talks, you'll be able to tour the campus and ask staff or student reps any questions you might have.

Things to explore

In between talks, make sure to take a tour around the campus and the specialist facilities for your chosen subject, to see what studying and creating at UCA Epsom is like. Check out the social facilities and accommodation options too. Epsom boasts the UK's first Business School for the Creative Industries, so have a look around, especially if you're interested in a business or management course! Don't forget to explore Epsom town, to get a feel of what life will be like outside of uni.

Getting there

By road

You’ll find our campus on the outskirts of the town centre, close to the Ashley Centre shopping mall. Use postcode KT18 5BE. Parking is limited, but exceptions can be made for blue badge holders - anyone with special requirements should contact the campus directly on +44 (0)1372 728 811 to arrange this. The nearest car parks to the campus are Depot Road (postcode KT17 4RJ) or at the Ashley Centre (postcode KT18 5AL), both are about a five-minute walk away. For more details of public car parks nearby please visit the Epsom and Ewell Borough Council website.

By rail

Epsom station is a five-minute walk to the campus, and you can get there from London Waterloo or London Victoria. Visit the National Rail website for times and prices. If travelling from Eurostar and arriving at London St. Pancras International, then take the southbound Victoria Line tube to London Victoria, or change at Oxford Circus (Bakerloo line, southbound) to London Waterloo.

By air

It takes between one and two hours to drive from London Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton airports to any of UCA's campuses. The same journeys take between two and three hours by train. There are rail connections from all the airports via central London to Epsom station, where you can walk or take a taxi to the campus.
