At your University of Leicester Open Day you’ll be shown around campus and the accommodation we have on offer, as well as attend talks on topics such as how to fund your university studies. Most importantly, you’ll get the opportunity to learn more about the courses you are interested in to find the right one for you!
Throughout the day, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to chat to our current students and staff, get any questions answered and be able to get a feel for student life in Leicester.
When visiting the University of Leicester for an Open Day, you’ll get the opportunity to experience what student life is like at Leicester.
Explore the David Wilson Library, the Danielle Brown Sports Centre and our newly opened, completely refurbished Students’ Union, as well as teaching facilities. You can also meet our dinosaur, Tane the T-Rex.
You’ll get the opportunity to take a look inside our student accommodation facilities at The Village, a short bus journey from campus, and our brand-new development at Freeman’s, The City.
Stay on campus for lunch at one of our outlets, head to Queens Road or make the short trip into Leicester City Centre to explore the vibrant city.
Getting to Leicester is easy because of the city’s excellent rail and road connections. Leicester Train Station is 15 minutes' walk from campus and St Margaret's Bus Station is centrally located with coach services from most major English cities including Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, Manchester and London Victoria.
For those who choose to drive, we have a 500-space, multi-story car park located on Putney Road, LE2 7TG.
