Things to explore

Open days are all about exploring.

Leicester’s compact campus is small enough to get everywhere easily but big enough that it never feels crowded. You can join a campus tour and a student ambassador will show you the David Wilson Library, the newly opened, completely refurbished Students’ Union, as well as teaching facilities. You can also meet their dinosaur, Jane the T-Rex. At the Information Fair you can chat to staff and students about subjects you are interested in as well as learn more about student support services, sports, careers and much more. Take a look around the accommodation and discover what could be your new home too. In the city itself there's plenty to do too. It's bursting with state-of-the-art, venues such as Curve, Highcross Leicester and the National Space Centre, museums and galleries, live music venues, areas of natural beauty and 2,000 years of heritage to discover.

Getting there

Getting to Leicester is easy because of the city’s excellent rail and road connections. Leicester Train Station is a 15 minute walk from campus and St Margaret's Bus Station is centrally located with coach services from most major English cities including Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, Manchester and London Victoria. If you choose to drive the postcode you'll need for the sat nav is LE2 7TF to help guide you to their multi-storey carpark.
