Studying psychology at The University of Law will open up the world of the human mind. With a strong focus on applied learning and developing real world skills, this BSc (Hons) degree will enhance your skills as a practitioner and increase your employability in the psychology field. Across three years of study you will have access to award-winning employability support, you will learn from experienced lecturers and experience the world of psychology through practical learning modules.
Your first year at The University of Law will hone your understanding of the psychology of mental health, the brain and behaviour. Your second year will focus on more intermediate theories and practices, such as cognitive psychology and the neuroscience of behaviour. In your third year, you will continue your studies with work-based learning, spending at least 40 hours volunteering at a relevant organisation to put your skills into practice. You also have the exciting opportunity to study an optional module from other subject areas of law, criminology and policing. You will also have an opportunity to study modules that are specific to the expertise of the lecturers at The University of Law, such as cyberpsychology.
