Not everyone is lucky enough to get a place at their first or even second choice university. Clearing can give you a second chance at finding a fantastic university to study at.

- As we previously said, not everyone is lucky enough to get a place at their first or even second choice university.
- All, however, is not lost.
- Clearing can give you a second chance at finding a fantastic university to study at.
- You can apply for a course using clearing if you’re not already holding an offer from a university or college, and the course you are looking at still has places. You’ll need to do this between 5th July – 19 October 2021.
- You’re able to use Clearing if:
- you’re applying for a place after 30 June
- you received no offers from your first choice universities, or decided not to accept the ones you received
- you didn’t meet the conditions of your offers
- you've already paid the multiple choice application fee of £26
- you’ve declined your firm place using the ‘decline my place’ button in Track
- It’s important to remember that going through clearing shouldn’t feel like failure. See it more as another chance at starting the next part of your educational journey.
