King's College London or KCL is one of the two founding colleges to comprise the University of London in 1829. As a member of the prestigious Russell Group of universities, King's is considered to be a top representative of British education and as such is a very competitive university to attend. Its Strand campus is the uni's original site and includes grade I listed 'King's Building' which houses two marble statues that are well worth a visit. In 2016 the university began a huge £1 billion development project across its campuses leading to a healthy mix of history, tradition and modernisation.
